Visited Summer Palace in the morning including a boat ride in the palace lake.
Stopped at a pearl factory before lunch.
After lunch, walked through Tiananmen square and entered the vast complex of the Forbidden City. Had a few light sprinkles in the afternoon, but not enough to affect the tour.
After dinner, attended Peking Opera.
